Group Exercise Class Descriptions


Barre:

While the workouts are dance inspired, the focus is on form and improving body composition by performing precise movements, not difficult routines.  Barre workouts are both low impact and intense - the best way to transform your physique without hurting your joints.

Body Pump:
Often referred to as ‘Pump’ by millions who love it, BODYPUMP™ is one of the world’s fastest ways to get in shape. Focusing on low weight loads and high repetitions, you’ll burn fat and calories, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning.

Boot Camp:
This class incorporates drills designed to enhance agility, speed, power, strength and quickness.

Body Combat:

A fiercely energetic and empowering workout inspired by martial arts. Focusing on a range of disciplines including karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai, you’ll strike, punch, kick and kata your way to superior cardio fitness. With awesome music and powerful instructors, unleash your full potential now!

Cardio Sculpt:
Burn calories in this total body aerobics and strength training class.

Club Bones
:
Designed specifically for prevention of age related bone loss. Improves balance, flexibility, posture and body mechanics. Taught by Jennifer Martin, PT.                                                                                                       

CXWORX:
This quick and efficient half-hour core cross training class is choreographed to music and emphasizes toning the muscles of the core to improve functional strength, mobility and balance and assist with injury prevention.  CXWORXTM is a high-energy workout that will challenge you physically and mentally and leave you feeling energized.           

Gentle Yoga:
This class will move at a slower pace, offering more time to stretch deeply in each pose. Through the use of props, poses are held longer without strain.

Hatha Yoga
:
Hatha Yoga uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. This style encourages proper alignment of the body and bring balance, strength and calmness.

Healthy Back
:
Our certified physical therapist (Jennifer Martin) leads this class through a series of movements that stretch and strengthen the back muscles.

Healthy Joints
:
Our certified physical therapist (Jennifer Martin) leads this class through a series of strength exercises, mixed with stretching to help improve posture and body mechanics.

Shred:   

Shred is standing total body training combined with functional core exercises to give you a vigorous 30-minute workout. Geared towards those serious about getting results.

Mat Pilates:
This class strengthens the core abdominal muscles while opening the joints and releasing tension. Pilates classes emphasize concentration, precision movement, and breath awareness.

Step
:
A low-impact step session that will increase the heart rate and burn calories.

Step & Sculpt
:
A 60-minute class combining step and body sculpting exercises that will shape and define your entire physique.

Super Step
:
A highly intense choreographed step class designed for intermediate and advanced students.

Total Body Conditioning
:
Get ready for this challenging strength training session designed to work the entire body by using weights, steps, and other equipment. (Advanced)

Yoga
:
Performing various postures and breathing techniques, this practice will enhance body awareness while also increasing strength, flexibility, and balance.

Zumba
:
A fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system that tones and sculpts the body.
